Before appearing for the entrance test, students must go through the paper pattern of the PAT exam. The test will be held at various examination centres across the state of Himachal Pradesh.
PAT Exam Pattern
The PAT exam will be conducted on the OMR sheet. The offline exam must be completed within 3 hours. For each question, there will be four options given in the test. Candidates need to correct one option and for each correct question, 4 marks will be awarded. On the other hand side, for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. This test will carry a total of 600 marks. The paper will contain four different sections and the distribution of marks will be different for each section.

PAT Counselling Process
The counselling process will be organized online by the selection board. Those aspirants who qualify for the exam and achieve a good rank in the merit list will only apply for the counselling process. Students must have to fill out the registration form for the online counselling process which will be available on the official site. The first two rounds of counselling will be organised online. The seat will be allotted on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates in the merit list.
