Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala completed the entrance test for D.EL.Ed also known as Junior Basic Training (JBT) course on 10 June 2023. The test is conducted for providing admission into two years of D.El.Ed course in 12 DIETs as well as 28 Private Affiliated Institutes of the state.

For this HP JBT Entrance Exam, the Board released a detailed notification in the mid of April and accepted online applications from the eligible candidate from 27 April to 17 May 2023. The entrance test was conducted on 10 June at different examination centres across Himachal Pradesh.

HP JBT Entrance Test Exam Overview

In the entrance test, the question paper consisted of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions. The question paper had four different sections with 25 questions each. Each question is of 1 mark and there is no negative marking for any wrong and unsolved answer. The candidates were given a time of two hours to solve the question paper.

HP JBT Answer Key Release and Objections Submission

The examination board will release the answer key for JBT Entrance Test on the official website within a few days of exam completion. First, there will be a provisional key which may have incorrect answers. The candidates must check this provisional key thoroughly and mark out such doubtful answers.

In the case of incorrect answers, the candidates can challenge these answers by submitting an objection form. The objection forms and relevant information can be checked on the official website accordingly. The objection fee which is ₹50/- per answer will be refundable in case of a valid objection.
