GSEB conducted the GUJCET Examination on 03 April 2023 at various examination centres across the state. The GUJCET is conducted for admissions to the Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture courses in state-run institutes.
As the examination for both papers has been completed, the students are curious to match their solutions with the official answer key. Students should be aware that the official GUJCET Answer Key will be provided within a few days of the exam. Unofficial answer keys prepared by the coaching centres or online tutors will be available by the evening of the exam day.

The examination was divided into two papers. The paper carried questions from Physics and Chemistry and was conducted combined for all students. In the paper-2 questions were from Maths/ Biology.
Exam Overview
- The exam is conducted as OMR Based Exam across the state.
- The examination had 2 Papers which carried 120 MCQs.
- Paper 1 had 80 Questions while paper 2 had 40 Questions.
- Students got 3 hours to complete the paper.
- One mark will be allotted to every correct answer.
- The GUJCET paper pattern has negative markings. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Admissions to the desired courses will be provided based on the merit list. Thus students want to assure that they score good marks on this exam or not. Matching their answer sheets with the Official GUJCET Answer Key is an ideal way to ensure this.
