Gujarat State Eligibility Test was successfully held on 06 November 2022. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is the official authority to conduct this test. Now, the authority has released the Gujarat SET Result on its website on 19th January 2023.
The University conducted the 16th edition of SET in November 2022. This test is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates to become Assistant Professor in the colleges and universities of Gujarat. The Gujarat SET is conducted in 25 languages.
Thousands of candidates take the State Eligibility Test organized at examination centres established at Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Patan, Bhavnagar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Godhra, Junagadh, Valsad and Bhuj. The exam is over and the board has evaluated the answer sheets and announced the Gujarat SET Results.

The candidates who took the exam are eager to know their results so that they can check their eligibility to apply for the Assistant Professor vacancies. The result is declared 2 months after the exam. Candidates can check the result from the official website by using the roll number.
GSET Qualifying Marks – Certificate & Validity
To be eligible for Gujarat Assistant Professor recruitments, candidates are required to appear in both papers of Gujarat SET. The candidates belonging to General Categories are required to secure at least 40% marks in the tests while other category candidates must get at least 35% marks in the tests.
The qualified candidates will be issued a certificate of passing the exam. This can be downloaded from the official website. On the GSET Certificate, several details including the Candidate’s name, category, exam year, and subject-wise secured marks will be mentioned.
The validity of the GSET Certificate will be a lifetime from the date of announcement of the results. However, a candidate can appear many times in the exam to improve his/her marks.
