The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda will conduct the 16th Gujarat eligibility test (GSET) for Assistant Professor posts. The exam is scheduled to be held on 06 November 2022 (Sunday). The board has established eleven examination centres at Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Patan, Bhavnagar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Godhra, Junagadh, Valsad and Bhuj.
The test will be conducted for 25 subjects. Candidates can download the GSET 2022 Hall Ticket from the official website now. Aspirants are required to fill in the application registration number and date of birth. A direct link referring to the same is provided in the links section on this webpage.
GSET 2022 is given to applicants who wish to be hired as assistant professors or lecturers at Gujarat State universities or associated colleges in order to determine their eligibility for the position. The online application forms for this test were invited from 29 August to 30 September 2022.

GSET 2022 Examination Scheme & Paper Pattern
GSET Examination will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type, multiple choice questions and will be held as under:
- Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective-type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, are intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. The paper will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
- Paper II shall consist of 100 objective-type compulsory questions carrying 2 marks each which will be based on the subject opted by the candidate during registration.
- The questions in both will appear in Gujarati and English versions (except for languages and science subjects). Questions of Language subjects will be in their respective language and Science subjects will be in English.
- There are no negative marks for incorrect answers.

GSET Hall Ticket will comprise essential details including the candidate’s name, registration number, category, roll number, exam centre name and timings. Candidates must download it from the official website and check that the details printed on it should be correct. In case of any error, candidates are required to contact the examination authority for necessary rectification.
While appearing for the written test, candidates must carry a valid photo identity proof along with the hall ticket print with them. A valid photo identity proof may be among aadhar card, pan card, driving license, voter id card etc.
