GAIL Associate Exam Pattern
- The exam will be organized in online mode i.e Computer Based Test.
- A total of 100 multiple-choice questions will be given in the exam which will carry 100 marks meaning 1 mark for each correct question.
- There will be a negative marking in the Associate exam of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Examinees need to complete the exam within 2 hours, no extra time will be given by the organisation.

Selection Process
The selection process will be contained two stages:
- Written Exam
- Personal Interview/ Skill Test
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the test by the examinees. Shortlisted applicants will be called later for the personal interview or skill test which will be conducted by the GAIL. For final selection, candidates will be cleared of all the selection stages. At the time of Joining, candidates need to submit their medical fitness certificate from Civil Surgeon or
Medical Superintendent or Chief Medical Officer or the equivalent of a Central/State Govt. Hospital.
