Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are being established with the objective of providing quality education from Class VI to XII students belonging to the ST category. These schools will be set up at block level as residential schools and will have separate hostels for boys and girls, accommodation for teachers, a mess facility, a playground and all other amenities in line with Navodaya Vidyalayas.
National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), Ministry of Tribal Affairs released a notification to recruit candidates for the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers in Eklavya Model Residential Schools. The authority will be filling a total of 5660 vacant seats through this recruitment drive. Both male and female candidates are eligible for this recruitment.

EMRS TGT Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria

| TGT (English / Hindi/Third Language/Mathematics/Science/ Social Science) | The candidate must have completed four years of integrated degree courses at the Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. ORThe candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The necessary requirements for various subjects are as follows:For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as the main subject in graduation. For TGT (English): English as the main subject in graduation. For TGT (Social Studies): Any two subjects from History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science is the main subject at the graduation level. For TGT (Maths): Mathematics as the main subject in graduation and the second subject should be Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, economics, commerce and Statistics. For TGT (Science): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry The candidate must have completed B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university. |

Applicant’s minimum age must be 21 years as of 18 August 2023 and it must not be more than 35 years. The upper age limit for EMRS employees is 55 years. Age relaxation to other reserved categories will be given to the eligible candidates as per the government rules.
EMRS TGT Vacancies – Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General Categories are required to pay ₹1000/- as an application fee. SC/ST/ PWD category candidates are exempted to pay the application fee. The application fee payment can be done online using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking etc.
