National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is initiating recruitment for various posts of Hostel Warden in Eklavya Model Residential Schools. The organization will fill a total of 669 vacant seats in this recruitment drive. The application registration process ended on 18 August 2023. Further, the organization will start conducting various phases of the selection process.
It is expected that the organization will conduct a written exam for these posts in November 2023. However, an exact date for the exam is not released yet. For compliance, the examination authority will issue call letters to the eligible applicants.

In July 2023, NESTS released a notification for the recruitment of Hostel Wardens in Eklavya Model Residential Schools across the country. Online applications for these posts were invited from 18 July to 18 August 2023. As the number of vacancies is 699, a massive number of candidates applied for these posts. EMRS Hostel Warden Exam – Selection Process
The authority will finalize the selection of eligible candidates on the basis of the selection of their performance in written examination and interview. As the registration process ended on 18 August, the examination authority has started scrutiny of received application forms. EMRS Hostel Warden Written Exam Scheme
The paper pattern for EMRS Hostel Warden posts will be as follows:-
- An offline exam i.e. OMR-Based Test will be conducted.
- Objective-type multiple-choice questions will be asked.
- Number of questions in the exam will be 120.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer.

There will be essential details i.e. Candidate’s Name, DOB, Photograph, and Category including the official details i.e. Exam Name, Authority’s Name, Examination Centre Name, Exam Timings etc. Candidates must check these details thoroughly. If any error exists, candidates must contact the exam authority for necessary rectification.
