This is the common eligibility test for Nursing officers and vacant posts will be filled through the NORCET exam.

Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- The applicants should have a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery and Degree in B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. from any Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- Applicants registered as Nurses & midwives with State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
- Moreover, candidates must have two years of work experience in hospitals after completing their academic qualifications.
Age Limit
Candidates age not less than 18 years old and not more than 35 years as on 05 May 2023. Upper Age relaxation for reserved categories will also be provided according to the rules and regulations of the medical institutes.
AIIMS Application Fee
The registration fee must be paid at the time of filling out an application form, without a payment fee the application will be rejected. The application fee will not be refundable. Apart from this, for candidates who belong to SC/ST who take part in the AIIMS exam, their application fee will be refunded after the declaration of the result. The application fee varies according to different categories:
- For General/OBC Categories: ₹3000/-
- For SC/ST Categories: ₹2400/-
- A person with disabilities is exempted from any application fee.

Selection Process for Nursing Officers
The organisation will be selected the applicants on the basis:
- Written Test: A computer-based test will be conducted by the recruiting authority all over India. Those candidates who will qualify for the exam will be called for the next stage of the selection process.
- Documents Verification: Applicants who cleared the NORCET exam will be able to take part in the verification process. The document verification will be done by the organisation. Applicants will carry all original documents along with one photocopy of all original documents at the time of verification.
