Answer Keys are an important part of the examinations as the participants can match their answer sheets with the official CTET Answer Keys. With this, they can evaluate their answers and can have a raw idea about their scores. Furthermore, candidates are allowed to raise objections against the incorrect answers in the answer key as well. We will discuss this here in a separate section.

About CTET Exam

As per the guidelines of NCTE, state education boards and central boards were directed to conduct the eligibility tests before hiring the teachers for the concerned classes. CBSE has the responsibility to conduct the TET as a central agency for the schools operated by the Central government.

CTET is conducted twice a year for two levels that are Paper 1 Primary classes of 1 to 5 and paper 2 for upper primary level classes of 6 to 8. CTET is conducted in June and December Sessions every year.

The candidates who are declared qualified after scoring the cut-off marks get a chance to participate in the recruitment organised by the central government for the teachers in the concerned schools. A CTET Qualified candidate is given a Certificate which is valid for a lifetime. One can apply for central government teaching jobs on basis of the CTET Qualified Certificate.

Answer Key Status

The Official CTET Answer Key for the December 2022 Session has been released online on ctet.nic.in. As expected, the answer key has been released by the third week of February month as the exam itself is concluded on 07 February.

The candidates of this exam have also been intimated by mail regarding the release of the answer key and answer sheets. The candidates should keep their login details ready to check the Answer Key and Answer Sheets as both have been provided through the login area of the candidates

CTET Answer Key Objection Process

The CBSE has also released the guidelines on the objection process against the answer key. It is a process where candidates are allowed to raise objections and submit the same to the board for revision. These objections are processed against the incorrect answers an answer key might have.

Upon receiving objections, the board verifies if the objections submitted are valid or not. As per the guidelines, an objection is considered valid when documentary proof of the correct answer is provided.

After the revision, the board prepares the final answer key. Response sheets of the candidates are then evaluated on the basis of the final answer key and the CTET results are prepared accordingly.
