Central Board of Secondary Education’s Central Teacher Eligibility Test Unit can announce the CTET exam at any time. The online registration process has been completed on 24th November. The NTA has released the examination schedule and the exam will start on 28 December across the country.
CTET exam will be conducted in 20 languages. This time the board will set up exam centres in 211 districts in different states of the country. The name of exam centre and other information will be made available on CTET Admit Card. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website by entering registration details etc. The relevant link for this will be made available on this webpage accordingly.

CTET is a national-level examination conducted by the CBSE board to check the eligibility of the aspirants who intend to become teachers in CBSE schools across the country. Paper 1 is taken for the primary level and paper 2 is taken for the elementary level. Both the level exams will be conducted on the same day in different shifts.
CTET Examination Scheme & Pattern for Paper 1 & Paper 2
CBSE CTET Paper I & II comprise a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on various topics each. The paper is conducted in offline mode for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. One mark will be given for each correct answer. There is no negative marking of incorrect answers or blank responses.
Paper 1 consists of 5 sections while Paper 2 consists of 4 sections according to the following exam pattern:
