Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has completed the preliminary examination for State Service Examination (PCS 2023). The preliminary exam is conducted on 12 February in two shifts. In the morning shift the exam for General Studies was conducted and in the evening shift exam for Aptitude Test.

It is reported that more than 1 lakh candidates participated in the PCS prelims Exam conducted at various examination centres across the state. Through this recruitment drive, 189 posts will be filled under State Civil Services. Candidates could apply through the official website from 01 December to 30 December 2022.
PCS Prelims Overview
- The examination is conducted offline as an OMR Based Exam.
- The exam had 2 papers. Paper 1 is for General Studies while paper 2 is for Aptitude Test.
- Questions asked in the paper were based on MCQ-Pattern.
- Each paper had 100 Questions.
- Candidates were given 2 hours for each paper.
- Each Correct answer will be awarded 2 marks.
Answer Key Details
Matching answer sheets with the official answer key gives a partial assessment to the candidates that how one has performed in the exam. As the answer key carries the answers to the questions asked in the paper, candidates can match the same with the official answer key.
The answer key for the Preliminary exam will be released as a provisional answer key. In CGPSc, this is called the Model answer key. The candidates who appeared in the exam will access the CGPSC Prelims Answer Key as per the question paper code.
The candidates then will be allowed to submit objections against the incorrect answers in the answer key. Upon revision, the commission will prepare the final answer key. The answer Sheets of the candidates will be evaluated as per the final answer key.

The commission has not uploaded the answer keys on the official website. Once uploaded, we will link to the same here. The answer key for the PCS Prelims of SSE Prelims will be uploaded according to question paper set A, Set B, Set C, and SET D.
