Haryana Staff Selection Commission conducted the Common Eligibility Test for the first time in the state on 05th and 06th of November. National Testing Agency is the authority to organize this exam. For the test, more than 1200 examination centres were set up across the state and in Chandigarh. More than 10 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. For the convenience of the candidates, Haryana Government arranged fare-free buses.
The purpose of this test is to shortlist the eligible candidates for Group C posts in various departments. Candidates seeking government jobs have to appear for separate examinations conducted by recruiting agencies for various posts. Candidates have to pay a certain fee to the recruiting agencies for appearing in these exams. Now, with the introduction of CET, the candidates will pay the fee once rather than paying again and again for multiple exams.

As the exam is over, the candidates are eager to know their results. The authorities took two months to declare their first-ever CET Result. The result is declared in online mode and candidates can check the same by entering the application registration number and date of birth.
HSSC Haryana CET Qualifying Marks – Cut off
- As per the details released by the authority, candidates belonging to General Categories are required to get at least 50% marks in the Harayana Common Eligibility Test.
- The decided passing marks for the candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories is 40%.
As mentioned this exam is taken for the eligibility of the candidates for Group C posts. Candidates will have to secure their slot in the upcoming recruitments by taking more than the prescribed passing marks in the examination.

Validity of Haryana CET Certificate
The qualified candidates will be issued a certificate of passing Haryana CET. The certificate will comprise the candidate’s name, category, passing year, result date, marks secured by the candidates etc. Candidates will be able to download it from the official website by using the registration details.
The CET Certificate will be valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of the result. However, there shall be no restriction on the number of attempts to be taken by a candidate, subject to the upper age limit.
