Central Board of Secondary Education has concluded Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the July 2023 session on 20 August 2023. The CTET Result for July will be declared on the official website in the upcoming days.
Candidates who have an aspiration to work in the education sector as a Teacher appeared for this exam. The mode of examination was online. As per the official statistics, about 32 Lakh candidates participated in the examination this time. The candidates can check their result after logging in using the application registration details.
The purpose of this test is to decide the eligibility of candidates for teachers for two levels Primary and Elementary levels. The primary level teaches classes 1st to 5th and the elementary level will be for classes 6th to 8th class. For CTET July Session 2023, the application registration process held from 27 April to 26 May 2023.

The candidate scoring good marks in the CTET examination will be eligible for the post of teacher for classes 1 to 8 in schools run by the government. The government schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other schools in Union Territories will recruit teachers on the basis of CTET results. Nowadays even private schools are recruiting candidates who have good CBSE CTET scores.
Central TET Qualifying Marks – Cut-off Marks
The Central Board of School Education sets the qualifying marks for the CTET exam. For general categories, CTET qualifying marks are kept at 60%. Whereas for reserved categories it is 55%. School management (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.

CTET Certificate Validity
CBSE will provide Central Teacher Eligibility Test mark sheets to all the appeared candidates and eligibility certificates to successful candidates in Digital Format in their DigiLocker account. The mark sheets and eligibility certificates will be digitally signed and will be legally valid.
The mark sheets and eligibility certificates will also contain an encrypted QR Code to enhance security. The QR code can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app. The DigiLocker accounts of all present candidates will be created and the account credentials will be conveyed to the candidates on their mobile numbers registered with CBSE. The candidates will be able to download their digital mark sheet and eligibility certificates using the communicated credentials.
The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take to acquire a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified for CTET may also appear again to improve his/her score.

Candidates can check the CTET Result 2023 from the login window available on ctet.nic.in. The login link for the candidates will be activated on the declaration of results.
After the declaration of the result, CBSE will release the CTET scorecard. The scorecard will contain details like the candidate’s name, roll number, father’s name, mother’s name, category, subject, exam qualification status, marks obtained in each subject and total marks.

Yes, the validity of the CTET certificate is for life. On June 3, 2021, the Ministry of Education announced that the government had decided to extend the validity period of teacher eligibility test qualification certificates from 07 Years to a lifetime validity period.
This exam is conducted twice a year by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Candidates who will be successful in this exam can use the CTET certificate to apply for teaching posts. Those who clear CTET Paper 1 will be eligible to apply for primary teacher posts for classes 1 to 5 and those who clear CTET Paper 2 will be eligible to apply for classes 6 to 8.
