Board Security Force has recently completed the application process for the Constable Tradesman Posts. The authority is soon going to organize the Physical Efficiency Test for these posts. Eligible youths will be selected on the basis of physical efficiency tests and written tests. For each phase, the authority will issue the admit card to the candidates. The relevant link for this will be made available on the official website.
After scrutinizing the received application forms, the eligible candidates will be called for the first stage of physical tests. Such candidates who fulfil the requirements of physical standards will be invited for the efficiency test. The schedule for BSF Constable Tradesman Physical Tests will be released on the website soon. Also, the information on the release of the BSF Constable Tradesman Admit Card will be released on the portal.
The candidates who qualify for the physical tests will be called for the written tests. The whole process will take about four to six months to get completed. Every year lakhs of youth take part in the recruitment rally to join the country’s defence forces with the spirit of serving the nation. In the year 2023, on 26 February, Border Security Force invited applications for the posts of Constable Tradesman. In this recruitment, applications were invited for a total of 1410 vacancies, out of which 1343 are for men constables and 67 for women constables.

The Written Examination will be of 100 marks containing 100 questions (qualifying marks 35% for UR Category/EWS & ExServicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC) and will consist of CBT (Computer Based Test) or OMR-based objective type multiple choice questions to
be answered using a Blue or Black ballpoint pen only. The duration of the written test will be two hours.
