(BMRCL) has released a recruitment notification for posts of Station Controller / Train Operator, Section Engineer, and Maintainer in the department of operation and department section. Capable candidates are invited from 24 March 2023 to 24 April 2023.
The corporation has released a total of 108 vacancies for Station Controller / Train Operators, 14 vacancies for Section Engineer, and 114 vacancies for Maintainers. The BMRCL exams will be conducted on the 6th, 7th & 8th of June 2023. All eligible and interested candidates to go to the official website and read the notification carefully. Selection Process
The candidates who will clear the written examination will have to appear for a skill test, a language proficiency test of Kannada and for document verification. The candidates will have to clear the previous stage before moving on to the next one. If any false document is found, that candidate will be liable for rejection.
Recruitment Criteria
Candidates need to fulfil all the criteria issued by the corporation to be considered for the post. The candidates need to clear the age criteria as well as education qualifications.
Age Limit- The minimum age for the candidates from all categories is 18 years but the maximum age criteria vary according to the categories. For SC/ ST/ Cat I candidates the maximum age is 33 years, for Cat IIa, IIb, IIIa, and III b candidates maximum age limit is 38 years. The age relaxation for ex-servicemen is up to the corporate guidelines.
Education Qualification – For the post of Station Controller/ Train Operator degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Power System, Industrial Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering is required. For a Section Engineer degree in the Engineering, field is required. For the post of Maintainer, 2 years of ITI certificate is required.
