Bihar competitive entrance test provides admission to various Government or Private Polytechnic colleges of the Bihar state. We are advised to students who wish to apply for this test must read the official notification in detail.

Eligibility Criteria for DCECE Examination

• For Polytechnic Engineering Course:  Candidates must have passed their matriculation from any recognized state board or central board with minimum qualifying marks. For this course, there is no minimum or maximum age limit explained by the board.
• For Para Medical (Metric Level): Applicants must have cleared the 10th class with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) along with the English subject. The age limit for metric para medical courses is between 15 years to 30 years as on 31 December 2023.
• For Para Medical (Intermediate Level): The 12th class passed with a minimum of 40% qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics subjects from the recognised board by the candidates. The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years for each applicant. For the GNM and ANM nursing courses, the maximum age limit is fixed at 35 years.

DCECE Admission Process
