Assam TET Admit Card 2023 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Level Exam. Check Teacher’s Eligibility Test Date and Essential Information @ssa.assam.gov.in

Department of Elementary Education, Assam has released the schedule for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test for Primary and Upper Primary Levels. The exam will be conducted at various examination centres across the districts on 30 April. For the exam, Assam TET Admit Cards will be released on the website on 15 April 2023 onwards.

The Lower Primary Level TET is conducted for classes I to V while the Upper Primary Level TET is conducted for classes VI to VIII. The qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the recruitment of Elementary Teachers in the school of Assam.

The candidates can download the Assam TET Admit Card from the official website using the application number and date of birth. A direct link to the same is provided on this webpage and will be activated as and when the same is released officially.

Assam Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted annually by the Department of Elementary Education, Assam. Thousands of candidates take the examination every year. This year, the applications were registered online from 05 March to 25 March 2023. The eligible registered candidates will be issued Assam TET Admit Cards. Candidates must be aware of the examination scheme and pattern of Lower Primary and Upper Primary TET.

Assam TET (Lower Primary and Upper Primary) Exam Scheme

Assam TET Paper-I is conducted for people who intend to become Primary class teachers i.e. Class I to V.

  1. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions on different subjects.
  2. Each question will carry 1 mark thus total marks will be 150.
  3. There is “No Negative Marking”.
  4. The medium of Questions will be Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi and English
  5. A duration of 150 Minutes for Paper-1 and 150 Minutes for Paper-2 will be given to the candidates, additional 20 minutes per hour will be there for Visually impaired candidates.

The candidates must be aware that the examination board will release Assam TET Admit Cards online only. The board will not send the admit cards to the candidates through post services or any other medium. Post downloading the admit cards the candidates must check the details printed on the admit card print thoroughly. The details must be correct and if any error is found, contact the exam authority for rectification. The essential details printed on Assam Special TET Admit Card will be as follows:

  7. Take a valid printout of the admit card for further use.
