The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam has released a notification for Polytechnic Admission Test 2023. Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is a state-level entrance test which is conducted once a year. The Assam Polytechnic offers admission to candidates into various Diploma, Polytechnic Engineering and Non-Engineering courses.

The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test will be conducted in offline mode (Pen-Paper mode). Qualified candidates will be offered admission to Government Polytechnic Colleges and Institutions of the state. The test will be conducted in the first week of July month tentatively.

As per the Assam PAT Notification released on 05 April 2023, the application registration will start on 10 April. The last date to submit a filled online application form is 05 May 2023. Assam PAT Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Assam Polytechnic Admission Test, a candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam state. Students are required to produce a permanent resident certificate at the time of counselling. Other eligibility details for Assam PAT 2023 are as follows:

Applicants must have passed H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination on the first attempt from any recognized education board. Candidates must have Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects in H.S.L.C. and must have scored a minimum of 40% marks for General, 35% for SC, and 33% for ST categories.

Assam PAT Application Fee Details

For Assam Polytechnic Admission Test-2023, applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₹500/- + bank charges at the time of registration. Payment of the application fee can be done online by using a credit card, debit card or Internet banking.
