State Council for Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Assam concluded a Pre Entry Test (PET) on 10 September (Sunday) 2023 for admission in D.El.Ed courses. The Students will get admitted into 2 years of Diploma Courses in Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions, Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions and Non-Government Aided Secondary Training Schools in Assam state.

Assam D.El.Ed Examination Overview
The examination carried various objective-type questions. There was a total number of 100 questions in 2 sections. Section 1 carried 35 questions and section 2 carried 65 questions. Each question carried one mark. The time duration was 120 minutes. The questions were asked from many sections such as General Knowledge, Mathematics, General Aptitude, General Science, Social Science Language (Assamese/ Bangla/ Bodo) & Teaching Subjects and many more.
The candidates will be selected based on marks secured by them in the CBT exam.
