Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will release the APSC Admit Card for CCE Preliminary Exam on the official website apsc.nic.in in the upcoming days. Candidates who have filled out the application forms for the given post will get the admit card 20 days before the examination date.

CCE or Combined Competitive exam is a state-level PCS examination for the Group A and B posts under the government departments. Every year, the Assam PSC conducts a competitive examination to choose deserving candidates for Civil Services cadres in the state.

Recruitment under Combined Competitive Exam was announced in December by APSC which was rescheduled later on with an extended number of vacancies. Now the exam will be conducted for 913 vacancies. The candidates were allowed to submit applications for the CCE from 21 January to 10 February.

Selection Process for APSC CCE

• Preliminary Written Test – The candidates will appear in the preliminary exam in the first phase. The test will be conducted as a screening test at multiple exam centres across the state.
• Main Exam – The candidates who are declared qualified after the preliminary exam need to participate in the main exam. Marks of screening test will not be considered for the final merit.
• Interview – The candidates who score qualifying marks in the main exam will be called for the Interview and document verification.

APSC CCE Prelims Exam Schedule

The date of the Combined Competitive Examination is already announced by the authorities. The preliminary exam will be conducted on 26 March 2023 in two shifts across the state. The commission will arrange hundreds of examination centres for this state-level examination.
