Airtel’s one-month plan

After TRAI’s order, both companies added plans with a validity of one month to their portfolio. Airtel’s one-month validity plan comes for ₹111.

In this recharge plan, users get a full month validity, talk time of ₹99 and 200 MB of data. With this plan, users will get a calling facility at the rate of 2.5 paise per second.

For local and STD SMS, you will have to spend 1 rupee and 1.5 rupees respectively. After the data limit is over, users will have to pay a charge of 50 paise per MB of internet usage. This plan is for those users who don’t use the internet or have very limited usage of data and who have to keep their SIM active on the network.

Jio’s Monthly Plan

Jio’s recharge plan comes at a higher price than Airtel’s. However, Jio users get more services in the monthly plan. Jio’s monthly plan is ₹259, which comes at more than double the price of Airtel’s ₹111 plan.

In this plan, users also get 1.5 GB of data daily, unlimited calls and daily 100 SMS. Apart from this, users will also get access to Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Cloud and Jio Security.

Verdict

If you’re an active internet user who daily browses social media and utilizes most of the data then the best monthly recharge plan for you is JIO’s 259 Rs. plan. If you don’t own a smartphone or have very limited data usage then Airtel’s 111 Rs plan is sufficient to keep the SIM active and do your basic tasks.
